Please take the time to read this manual
right through. Although you won’t remember everything in it, you may remember
the existence of some advice or data that you will find useful in the future. The School aims
to provide an exemplary standard of research higher degree experience. It
operates as an integrated cross-campus school, so some of the resources you
will need are based on one of the campuses, some of the resources are
replicated on both campuses, others are seamlessly networked, or somewhere in
between these extremes. Bear this in mind when reading this manual.
In order to save
repetition and time in amending subsequent editions, names, phone numbers,
rooms and email addresses are generally not specified in the text except for
important instances at their first occurrence. For further information on any
member of the School
